Dallas Thanksgiving

It was the most memorable Thanksgiving to date! We took our little family, boarded a plane, and flew down to Dallas. Everything about it was so exciting and our kids loved walking through the airport and flying on the plane. Our flight to and from Dallas went beyond perfect and it actually makes me want to fly more often with my little family. 

We stayed in Dallas from a late Tuesday night to early Sunday morning. Of course it all went by way too fast and with so many kids it was a blur. But we really did love every second. 

Highlights

1. making pillow cases with all kids

2. making a big Thanksgiving dinner and enjoying all together. It was loud and crazy and perfect.

3. Black Friday shopping with Brady. We all get super into it and it makes is so much fun!! He went out and got the ads late on Wednesday night and we spent a couple hours planning our attack.

4. Going to the Perot Natual History Museum. Scarlett the loved the "inside the body" exhibit and Alice loved seeing all the dinosaur bones. 

5. Couple date to Top Golf. It was nice to have a break from all the kids and enjoy some adult conversation

6. Seeing Brady's dental office and getting my teeth cleaned

7. Seeing the movie Good Dinosaur in a movie theater with huge reclining seats. All the kids were kept entertained...even Jack!

8. All the good food!! We went to a Red,Hot and Blue bbq and a place called Torchy Tacos. But the real treat was having Cherise cook some amazing food. I ate until I could not eat anymore. The girls absolutely loved helping Cherise in the kitchen and being her sidekick.

9. Watching Alice and Scarlett get so excited about the plane taking off. It was better than a Disneyland ride. They squealed and shouted for joy. I am sure the other passengers thought we were all crazy. 

10. Best of all was just being together. The kids played hours and hours everyday with toys and outside. They all got along great and by the end were best buddies. I loved being with Emily and Brady and making so many wonderful memories. I came home and missed Brady's family terribly!!

It was by far the best couple of days of the 2015 and I am so glad we splurged and made this trip happen!
