36 weeks Pregnant

So far, so good. This pregnancy has be very similar to Scarlett's, smooth sailing. I have the usual ailments: heart burn, minor back pain, feeling like "popping". I love that I am still able to stay busy and get things done. Amazingly, I have not had to slow down at all. I want to go the full 40 weeks this time so I guess I better start laying low. This baby is not a kicker, she loves to just roll around. Her time of day to exercise is 4-5 am, not too fun for me. We are all getting super excited to meet her and have her join our family. I finally washed her little clothes and got the bassinet ready. It is amazing how small it all is, they grow up fast. We only need to do one last thing... decide on a name. We have nothing and I mean nothing. Nick and I just can not decide. We asked Scarlett and she says to name her "baby". That just might be it.

Scarlett started to say "I love you". It comes out "I wuuuv you". It melts our hearts. She will say it over and over when we lay her down to bed: "bye bye, I wuv you. bye bye I wuv you". This morning she was quite grouchy so Nick made her a special chocolate milk treat. She takes a drink and says "mmmm yummy, I wuv you". The grouchies were all gone after that. We wuv you too!

She has no idea...

that in 7 weeks her life will permanently change. She is just so adorable right now I want to always, always remember it. I eat her up everyday, knowing that soon I will have to split my attention.

-loves to point to your elbow and say "elbow"
- tells me all the time to "go away", especially when Nick is around
- loves butterflys, she calls he "flys"
-loves to take out my pony and brush my hair
-loves to grab my hand and say "pway" . She wants me to play with her
- when asked can get her own diaper upstairs
- giggles with delight when she watches movies of herself on the ipad
- when I am next to her she will wrap her arms around my neck and give me the biggest hug and kiss
- asks for Nick a dozen times a day and then she says "daddy at work"

New Year 2012

To celebrate the start of 2012 we had our friends the Youngs and Clemons over for dinner and games. It is so fun to see all our girls play together. Amanda and Sara are good friends from high school and I am sure we had our share of wild New Year Eve parties. This one was much more tame. It was a great night!

Scarlett being naughty and giving Chloe M&M's.

The girls loved the new kitchen and shopping cart. Best purchase!

Sara, Amanda, and Me. So glad that we live close enough to get together.

Look at Scarlett's face, she loved the party
