Callen’s 1 Month

This boy is such a doll!! He has sweet eyes and a cute dimple on his right cheek (just like big brother Jack). This past month has been a complete blur! Days have gone by fast, weeks have gone by fast, it has all just gone by so fast. But that’s just what happens when life doesn’t slow down. I am taking care of a newborn all day and ALL night and then still doing mom duty to the other 3 kids. It’s homework, lunches, errands, messes and crazy a  toddler. But I am making it through! I sure love this new little boy and I sure love my big kids. They have all been so patient with me as I am learning to mother 4 kids. Callen is a beautiful little boy and has a voracious appetite. He wants to eat every 2 hours on the dot! All day and All night I am feeding this boy. But he is gaining weight and is overall a pretty happy baby. So here’s to one month down!!

Alice's 6th Birthday

Alice is adorable and such an easy little girl to love!! She always has a smile on her face and is willing to go with the flow. Alice is the sibling that gives up her toy so others in the family are happy. I guess you could say Alice is our joyful peace maker. She is so happy all the time and loves to give me hugs all day. I love it!! Every morning, before school, and when she gets home from school she has to give me a hug. As she scoots of to school she always looks back and says "I love you mom". Such a gem this girl is! I love how motherly she is. If jack is sad she is there to help make it better. No one was more excited for baby Callen to be born. She loves to hold him and help change his diaper or put in his pacifier. She is going to make such an amazing mother one day. 

So much of Alice has stayed the same through the years. She has her little quirks and loves. Like she loves Mac and Cheese and has for years. She loves her "shows" and works hard to get her homework done so she can watch them. Alice has always been one to love a good tv show. She still loves to play dolls and art with Alice and has since birth. She has always been a quick learner and that has shinned this year in kindergarten. I have watched her become such a great little reader and loves to read to me at night. Alice still continues to be our social butterfly and makes friends so easily. I find that kids her age really gravitate to Alice and love to be around her. I don't blame them. Alice is kind, happy, adventurous, creative, and inclusive. Alice is complete delight to parent and I just adore her!!
