Things escalated quickly....

Scarlett has this blanket. It might just be the star of this blog. It is in tons of pictures with Scarlett. Why? Because she is addicted. It goes with us everywhere... bed, store, car, park, dinner, while she is eating. It is getting pretty bad and honestly out of hand! Needless to say it does not get washed very often and is probably the cause of all her runny noses. Gross, disgusting blanket. It might be time to burn "the wooby".

I washed it this morning. While I was doing dishes she kept on wandering upstairs to beg at her crib for the blanket.

First fit... took her back down stairs (after I got the camera of course)

Second fit, pounding her feet...
and arching her back. I Took her back down stairs
Third fit, what the? How did she do that? When I took her down she was screaming bloody murder. I took her back down stairs.

Fourth fit, complete and utter despair.

A day in the life of....

Scarlett!

She is 15 months going on 16, with her attitude and temper. She will pound her feet when she does not get her way and throw a fit. But most of the time she is adorable and discovering the world. She could spend all day outside getting dirty and doing naughty things. My favorite new thing is her saying "thank you" for everything. Oh and I catch her singing to herself doing a little dance. I love, LOVE my little girl!

Her days going something like this...

(breakfast while watching Saved by the Bell, she loves Zac and Kelly)

(She also loves her some A&D ointment, she thinks it takes like pudding)

(I take it away)

(She gets her real friend and companion... the nappiest blanket that ever was)

(she will sit on my bed for hours just sucking her fingers. That is the only place she will hold still)

(grandma spoils her)

(just a few of her favorite things)

(no day is complete without getting wiggles out)

(snoozing in the car, always. That naughty girl)

(pre-dinner snack. Nick taught her that one)

(she just hates cooking dinner, she can never think of something to make. )

(post-dinner snack. Nick taught her that one too. She loves her dad)

(She stays in till nicely pruned)

(Stop touching me)

(Her cute little curl. Sadly it is not always so perfect. We just cut it off. Trust me we did the world a favor. It was a ratty mess)

(loves Goodnight Moon and the kitties in it. "ki-tty", "ki-tty", the whole time)

(best part of my day. I love me some snuggly baby time)

I love you good night!

March Madness

(Some differences in marriage are good. Just as long as I am right...and I am!)

Brady came into town with Preston for the Mountain West Conference. We went to most of the games and loved it. I can not describe the energy during the games, especially when BYU's Jimmer set the record at 52 points in one game. WOW. GO BYU(even though you broke my heart with your 20 point loss in the final)

Hanging out at Vetern's Memorial Park

I-Hop with the whole family. Kim and Abe drove down with all their kids to join the fun. Charly just loves Scarlett. Scarlett has yet to really notice her but one day they will be buds.

4th Anniversary

THEN

March 10th Nick and I celebrated 4 years of being married. Being Vegas locals we know how to live it up. We went to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, ordered up some "cheese burgers in paradise" and virgin pina colodas. It reminded me of our honeymoon to Hawaii and drinking like a thousands lava flows. Good times. On the way home Nick leaned over and said to me "There is nothing I could ask for that would make me more happy than I am now." We have the most wonderful life. Nick, you make me laugh everyday because of your little weird ways...and I LOVE IT!

Girls Day

Us girls ( minus Kimberly, who we missed!) got together and spent Friday-Saturday together doing girly things like... movie Beastly, yogurt-land for some diet friendly dessert, pedicures, pottery painting and tons of good food at California Pizza Kitchen. It was a blast. I hope my next little one (no I am not pregnant so don't start rumors) is another girl. Every girl needs a sister!!

(pottery painting, not my greatest talent I'll admit)

(pretty toes, mine are the purple)

Did I mention every girl needs a sister? Well, they also need a phone and cute jellies!
