Nevada Day Weekend

He took a very last minute adventure this past weekend. We headed to the new Cedar City Temple for the open house. The girls had tons of questions about everything and Jack just wrecked havoc and was super irreverent (of course). Then we drove up to the cabin for a day of fun riding the 4 wheelers and hiking. We ended Saturday evening in St. George going to Staheli Farms with the St. George crowd (Kim, her kids, and Caity and Ryan). Emily planned the weekend out and it was just perfect!!

Jack insisted on climbing up with rock mountain. He never asked for help and kept saying to me "mom its just bootiful" and "come on mom we are almost there". He is such an adventurous little boy

Halloween activities!

We have had such a great October!! We went to the pumpkin patch with the Strobelts, had fun playing games and eating cotton candy at the Harvest Festival, and Alice loved her pumpkin discovery activity at school. Jack has loved dressing up in his spider man costume and going all sorts of places (library and target are in the pictures). 

Newport 2017

Our whole family was looking forward to this trip so much!! Because I was so sick over summer we  didn't travel or get out of town. So our summer vacation finally arrived in October. We went to a new beach everyday. Wednesday we walked around Balboa, went to little surf shops, and went to Balboa Beach. On Thursday we played at the hotel, did crafts, and went to 1,000 steps beach. It is really just about 4 hundred stairs you have to go down to get to a super beautiful and secluded beach. On Friday we to breakfast at the Beachcomber and then spent to afternoon at Crystal Cove Beach. We love Crystal Cove because it has tide pools and perfect waves for summing and boogie boarding. On Saturday we walked the Newport boardwalk and spent the day at Newport beach. While at Newport Beach their was a air show with 5 loud jets doing tricks over the beach. It was amazing and so, so loud! On Sunday we headed home and visited Nicks aunt Kathy and Uncle Jon. I call that a success trip!! Lets just say after all the sun and surf we crashed when we got home.
