Scarlett 1 week

My sister Kim came down and took these pictures of Scarlett. She is just 2 days old.

She has been a dear, dear little girl this past week. She sleeps and eats like a champ. I even enjoy getting up with her at night because she just so sweet. Her new baby hair is super soft, like velvet. I rub all day long, so much that I will probably be the cause of it falling out. She is finally uncoiling her arms and legs and starting to fit her clothes. I am amazed at how man diapers I go through in a day. Wow this kid definitely can poop. She has made this week really easy because she sleeps and eats so good. She only wakes 2 times a night, she eats and goes back to sleep. The worse part about this week is that I have a cold and have since the day I got home from the hospital. It really is the pits! Despite the fact that Scarlett's chances of getting it from me is rare I am still terrified of her getting sick. She is so tiny and fragile. I hope she stays healthy. I look at her all day and just marvel at how beautiful she is. Having her be part of our family is such a blessing and a gift.
