Christmas 2009

Our Christmas baby with her new hair bow from Aunt Emily, only 8 days old.

At Tiffany's with our "cracker" hats on. We had Christmas Eve dinner with the Strobelt's at Tiffany's.

This Christmas was such a wonderful time. Mainly because of new baby Scarlett but also because my brother and his family were able to spend it with us. Brady lives in Dallas and is not able to visit very often, so to have them here with us is such a treat. They had twins (Ella and Everett) this April and I was finally able to meet them this week. They are such good and beautiful babies. Brady arrived late on Christmas Eve. We arrived at my parents from spending Christmas Eve with the Strobelt's to a massive present wrapping party. Brady and Cherise had to wrap all their presents before bed. We all pitched in and finally went to bed around 2 am. It was a wrapping party! Christmas morning was wonderful chaos with kids running around, a great breakfast of pumpkin waffles, and opening presents. It definitely was festive. Being with so much family makes me realize that family is the most important part of Christmas. This was such special Christmas, one that I will never forget. I love what President Monson said in his Christmas address, " to catch the true meaning of Christmas, one need only drop the last syllable and it becomes the spirit of Christ." I hope all had a wonderful Christmas season!

Christmas morning with my best present!!

Great-grandma Strobelt holding Scarlett on Christmas Eve

All the Camp grandbabies born this year. Emily with Wesley, Cherise with Ella and Everett, and Me with Scarlett. It was a "bumper" crop this year according to my dad.

My Christmas present from my parents, a new rocking chair. It was amazing and I had to pull it away from my family who fell in love with it.
