Jack and Jill Birthday

We both had such wonderful birthdays! I was spoiled on my birthday with Emily and my mom surprising me for breakfast, a hike, and a facial! They told me to get sitters for the kids but didn't tell me anything else. It was such a nice kid free day. The night before my birthday Nick took me to a great Mexican restaurant on the Strip. It was a perfect 30th birthday filled with adventure, good food, and a constant reminder that I am loved. I am so blessed in this life and I have everything I could ever desire: a loving husband, 3 healthy/happy children, education, support, and stability. I love this life I live but even more I love the people that surround me. Turning 30 was a bitter pill for me as I love being youthful and feeling young. But I have come to understand that youth doesn't last forever but feeling young can. If I continue to have hope, positivity, and a sense of adventure I can feel young forever!

Jack had a simple celebration with all the people that love him most. We had a soup bar and birthday cake over at my moms with the Strobelts, Flakes, and mom/dad. He loved opening presents and eating his cake. He is the most adorable little boy and I hope we can always maintain a wonderful relationship.

My birthday:

Hiked down Goldstrike canyon to the hot springs. It was a a strenuous hike with repelling and bouldering. But the hot springs were worth it. I went to this hot spring 15 years ago and have been trying to find them ever since. It was a great surprise to be reconnected to my younger self!

jacuzzi, homemade cupcakes, and pizza for my night party

Jacks birthday:

Nick had a super busy week the week of our birthdays so we didn't get to celebrate with him enough. We decided to go on a gorgeous family hike in honor of being adventurous and birthdays
