A lot of living happened between those two pictures. I feel I have grown more this year than ever before. Two children is better than I could have imagined and our little family is quite the team. My brother in- law, Jordan, asked me an interesting question last week "What person has affected 2012 more than any one else?" I instantly said Alice. Why? Well, for all the reasons you think. She is a new addition to our family, I have spend hours upon hours caring for her, and I adore her as does the whole family. She is our baby. But Alice also took our family down an interesting road due to her milk allergy. Without planning on it we have changed the way we eat, almost completely. No dairy (except Scarlett who gets whatever she wants cause she is three) and very little meat, it sounds extreme and maybe it is. But we are all healthy and happy and I would not change it. Because of this crazy diet I have been forced to cook more than ever. I  changed the way I shopped, prepared, and cooked food. That was harder to adjust to than going from one to two children! Seriously, a big change for me.  I had to dig through recipes finding ones that worked and try and retry them until I got it right. I did it!  2012 will be defined as "the year we went a little hippy and started eating vegetables!" Thanks Alice!
