Nick's sweet grandparents celebrated there 75th wedding anniversary on June 2. Thinking about it makes me tear up, not many couples have the opportunity to celebrate this day. They were so happy and while eating dinner I peaked over at them and they were holding hands. They are one special couple. We celebrated at P.F. Changs with the whole family. I hope they have many more birthdays and anniversaries!
I did not grow up living close to grandparents. We would see them all the time but still they were not there for birthdays or dance recitals or Sunday dinners. Since being married I have learned how wonderful it is to have grandparents close. These two are there for almost every family event and add so much to the gathering. Wilf (96 years old) still gets on the ground and plays with Scarlett. We all love them very much!
