So I started working 12 hours days. Worked asked me to go full time and I just could not do that. Nick 100% agreed so we compromised with work. I do two 12 hour days with some work at home. The days are long but seeing 25-35 patients makes it go super quick. I come home exhausted/hungry/tired/ some what cranky. But then there is Nick. I love him. I love him a lot. I think I love him more today than I ever have. I came home to delicious chicken tacos and a happy/clean little girl. Nick did it all. He drops her off at the babysitter, goes to work, picks her up, gets her dinner, baths her, gets me dinner and then he says "thanks Jill for working hard." I married THE best man. P.S. you are right, dinner does taste so much better when someone else makes it!!
he IS a great husband and dad! you are amazing for doing 12 hour days- I of course do that as a mom but I get to take naps and someone shares their snacks with me.
