Callen was bless by Nick on 5/6/2018. Nick gave a very sweet blessing. During the blessing my heart was full of gratitude for Nick's worthiness and the power of the priesthood. This has been a hard year for our family. In March Tiffany and C-Jay got divorced and Emily's separation from Jordan is about to end in divorce in the next month. I have watched both Jordan and C-jay make poor choices that have made them unworthy to use the priesthood. It has been devastating to witness their fall.
When the men were walking up to bless Callen I thought it was going to be just Nick, Ron, my Dad, and Tim. My heart sank as two men who have always been there would not participate this time (Jordan and C-Jay). But right then Devon and Justin walked past me and joined the circle. How grateful I am for all those men being worthy and willing to use the priesthood. It was a very touching moment for me. Those in the circle were: Nick, Tim, Ron, my dad, Justin Bailey, and Devon Strobelt.
Nick blessed Callen to love and study the scriptures, to love obedience and his Savior, to rely on the Lord in hard times, to be married in the temple and serve a worthy mission. He told Callen that he is surround by people, both friends and family, that love him. It was a wonderful day in celebration of our wonderful Callen. He has brought endless love and joy to our home.
