The Strobelt Times: Kid Update

4 kids is sending me for a loop! Each kid is so fun and easy on their own but add them all together and it is craziness. But with Callen being a little more on a schedule things are starting to get better. I never thought I would but I really do enjoy those 3 am feedings. I can snuggle up and just be with Callen alone. He is so adorable these days. Here are some updates on the 3 other kids

Scarlett: She is a gem these days. So helpful and can take care of herself. She loves to hold Callen for me and also helps to entertain Jack after school. She loves to sit next to me while I nurse Callen and talk to me or read. We talk about school, her friends, plans for the summer, and all her little thoughts throughout the day. I love that she is open with me and I love our conversations. I am amazed how far she has come in school! Since November she has been in a reading group at school and I have seen so much improvement. We still sit everyday after school and do homework together. Some days I have endless patience and other days are just hard. But we have a cute tutor come once a week to help and it has made all the difference. Scarlett and I seem to do better the other days ands seems more confident. I sure love this sweet girl and all her little bags filled with "treasures". I also love seeing her stay up in bed reading or talking to Alice.

Alice: This girl is ALL sass these days. Its like I have a teenager in my house when she is around. She is in your face, loud, and a total "valley girl", you know "like totally babe". But she still gives the best hugs and snuggles. She come in my bedroom in the morning and hugs and kisses Callen. She can get him to smile so big! Alice is doing awesome at school and was chosen to be the narrator in her school play. She is always smiling and has a huge zest for life. Her favorite things these days are playing with neighborhood friends and watching "her shows".

Jack: This boy is a tornado! So busy and crazy but so cute. He loves to call everything "stink" and gets really close to my face to talk to me. He gives me a kiss on my cheek whenever I ask and loves to snuggle baby Callen. Jack also LOVES his cousin Savannah who he calls "Nana". He can't go a day without seeing her and asks about first thing in the morning. They are so cute/naughty together. He is my best buddy and I love hearing his constant chatter all day. His blonde hair, blue eyes, and dimples are the perfect winning combination!
