Scarlett's Baptism

Scarlett was baptized on jan 20th. She has talked about and dreamed about this day for a long, long time. I remember when she was 3 and we had an FHE lesson being baptized. All Scarlett could talk about for a month was how excited she was to be baptized. It was a wonderful morning and I loved seeing Scarlett so happy and filled with the love of her Savior.

The Stake Primary President asked me "how does Scarlett choose the right". This is what I replied "Scarlett loves to read her scriptures and always makes sure we read them before school. She will also read them on her own before bed. These past couple of months I have seen Scarlett;s knowledge of the gospel really grow. She knows Heavenly Father loves her and that she isa child of God".

Scarlett has a blossoming testimony and it has been a joy to watch it grow. When she prays she such faith that God listens. Her simple testimony is strong and genuine. I am so amazed at how such a small child can understand so much about the gospel and spiritual world around her. As I was doing her hair in the morning she looked at me with a big smile and said "Mom, this is what it feels like right before you are baptized and it feels amazing". It was my favorite moment of the day, seeing her so, so excited!
